Andreas M. Brændhaugen

Product designer making software that shakes up categories, attracts loyal users, and creates successful exits. I’ve helped build products that have won Apple Design Awards, an IxDA award and a Webby, and four were acquired: Pulse, Bureau of Trade, Lever and Streamlit. Today I’m at Snowflake, helping data scientists and analysts get actionable insights from their company’s data.

You can find me on X, LinkedIn, or Vimeo.

Lever

Lever is a recruiting platform (applicant tracking system) that helps teams source, interview and hire together. As its founding designer, I designed the product from its first version through seven years of growth, along with the brand and front-end. Lever was acquired in 2022, a successful exit for its founders and investors.

Pulse Newsreader

Pulse was one of the iPad’s first breakout apps: featured by Steve Jobs at WWDC 2010, named “App of the Week” in the iTunes Store, winner of Apple Design Awards, and acquired by LinkedIn in 2013. I designed the interface for its first version and the marketing for its launch, including two promotional films.

With founders Akshay Kothari and Ankit Gupta.
